In a very typical Texas high school back in August of 1993, I was walking to my next class when in slow motion on the far end of the hallway, walking directly towards me, was this handsome guy. I swear to you, I thought I saw his hair blowing in the wind, a sparkle shown right off his tooth as he smiled. I was born and raised in Waco, Texas and I knew everyone- but I had never seen this guy before. There was something about him. The way he dressed, the way he carried himself - I knew right then and there I would marry that guy some day.

And, several years later I did! 

Fast forward some 28 years, 3 children, 1 grandchild, 2 grand dogs and we are Eddie and Jennifer Vera, the crazy couple behind Wandering Hearts.

We are absolutely obsessed with traveling and we are hoping through this site you can experience some of our travels with us and become as crazy and obsessed with traveling as we are.

• Blog- In our blog you will find stories about places we have visited, people we have met, foods we have eaten, upcoming trips and so much more. 
  
  

We want to be completely upfront with you. We started this blog because we love to travel. We feel like truly being able to “love your neighbor” is knowing them. Experiencing their foods, their cultural, their way of life gives you a deeper appreciation and understanding of people. We want to be able to share our experiences with others. We want you to fall in love with traveling as much as we have. When clicking on links you will sometimes be redirected to other sites.
